Exposure Drawings (2016)
This series of cyanotypes explored capturing
time and form in two dimensional formats. Using fauna and found objects in the desert of Joshua Tree, the process of exposure uses light and the silhouettes of the objects to produce ghostly imprints.
In reaction to the images produced by the aspects of time and place, abstracted shapes and lines of color pencil were added as visualizations of these concepts.
